Do I need an account?
No. The public simulations are free to open without creating an account or entering student details.
Do you save my notebook?
Your notes and experiment settings stay in the current page session. Switching experiments within the app preserves them, but refreshing or closing the page clears them. Download the CSV before leaving.
What is the difference between 2D and 3D?
The 2D labs emphasise clear diagrams and graphs. The 3D labs add spatial apparatus you can rotate and inspect. Use the library filter to choose a format; not every experiment has both versions.
Why is the 3D area blank or slow?
Try an up-to-date browser with WebGL enabled. Close unused tabs and check whether your school browser disables graphics acceleration. The 2D library is a useful alternative. If the issue continues, send the lab link, browser and device to support@labmora.com.
How do I rotate the equipment without changing a setting?
Drag an empty part of the 3D scene to rotate the view. Use the on-screen interaction hints to identify movable parts. Parameter controls offer exact adjustments; Reset view restores the camera. Controls vary by experiment.
Why can’t I hear sound?
Audio starts muted. In a sound-enabled experiment, enable sound, check the volume and start the experiment. Audio pauses when the experiment stops, the tab is hidden or you navigate away. Not every wave experiment includes audio.
Can I share a particular experiment?
Yes. Copy the experiment’s address. The link opens that experiment, but it does not include your personal notes or current parameter settings. Library 2D/3D filters also have shareable URLs.
Is this a replacement for practical science?
Use it alongside practical work. Simulations make relationships easier to investigate, but real apparatus introduces handling skills, measurement uncertainty and effects that a model may simplify.
Is Labmora approved by an exam board?
No exam-board endorsement is claimed. Many topics are relevant to secondary and advanced-secondary physics. Teachers should check the model, terminology and activity against their own syllabus.
Can my school have its own version?
Yes, contact schools@labmora.com to discuss a branded deployment on your domain. Hosting, support and updates are agreed in the proposal. SSO, gradebooks and student dashboards are not included in the current standard offering.
