Why Labmora exists

Make the invisible understandable.

Some ideas are hard to understand until you can change something and see the result. That is the space Labmora is built for.

A diagram can explain a lens. An equation can describe a pendulum. But moving the lens yourself, or testing what actually changes a pendulum’s period, creates a different kind of understanding.

Labmora is an independent educational simulation project focused on interactive physics. Our aim is to make useful experiments accessible in a browser, with clear controls and the science close at hand.

What we care about

Agency: learners should be able to ask their own “what if?” questions, not just watch an animation.

Clarity: an attractive model is useful only if its measurements, units and assumptions make sense.

Evidence: an experiment should help learners test an idea, record what happened and explain why.

A growing lab, with room to improve

The public collection currently includes 69 experiments across measurement, motion, electricity, waves, light, thermal physics and more. We continue to improve the models and the experience. If you find a confusing interaction or a scientific error, we want to hear about it.
